For a seaman the harbour is a safe haven to moor one’s boat after a peaceful outing with friends or at the end of a stormy crossing. However, a harbour also means facilities, history, maritime tales recounted on the docks, ambience and the YACHT CLUB.

The YACHT CLUB is the ideal place for meetings, promotions, introductions and all that concerns, not only the life of the port, but the entire nautical field.

Following the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, now too, 2009 has passed and, at the Rapallo Yacht Club, we are in the process of making great plans for 2010:
The SWIMMING POOL on the sea-facing terrace is on, enveloped by a large wooden SOLARIUM.It is very satisfying to see the way things have gone during the new Rapallo Yacht Club’s sixth season. The efforts made by Eng. Carlo Riva to reserve a space in his Harbour, where Users can meet and swap stories, was enthusiastically received by the new members.

It is really wonderful to take a break, sit at one of the tables on the splendid terraces overlooking the sea all the way to the Portofino promontory, and chat, whether during the day or in the evening. The Club offers convenience and excellent services, not least of which is the cuisine and table service, which as we know, never goes out of fashion. The work has been hard but has been appreciated as never before, because it is a sign of the Member’s appreciation. It has been satisfying for us to make our members feel at home and it cannot be said that this not so, since phoning to ask the Chef to prepare special dishes has become a habit.
